Tirana International Airport marks another important milestone in its sustainability journey

During the visit of Airports Council International Europe (ACI Europe) Director General Mr. Olivier Jankovec, Tirana International Airport signed the ACI Resolution for Net Zero by 2050, reinforcing its long-term commitment to climate action. At the same time, works were inaugurated for the ground-based solar plant, a key project aimed at fully offsetting carbon emissions and positioning TIA as one of the first airports in Europe to achieve Net Zero by 2030.

Supported by significant investments in innovation and infrastructure, this milestone further positions TIA as a leader in sustainable aviation.
