Tirana, March 28, 2023 - Today marks a significant milestone for Tirana International Airport (TIA) as we celebrate the commencement of operations by Iberia, connecting Tirana with the vibrant city of Madrid. The inaugural flight, IB3386, departed from Madrid to Tirana with 152 passengers onboard, signifying the beginning of a promising partnership between TIA and Iberia.

Iberia is set to offer more than thirty thousand seats throughout the summer season, facilitating seamless travel between the Spanish capital and Tirana. Passengers can embark on this exciting journey with three weekly frequencies, operating every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.

With the introduction of the Airbus A320neo, renowned as one of the most efficient and modern aircraft in Iberia's fleet, travelers can experience unparalleled comfort and convenience during their journey. The aircraft's advanced features ensure a smooth and enjoyable flight experience, setting new standards in air travel.

Tickets for these flights are now available for purchase at www.iberia.com and through various travel agencies, starting from just 79 euros each way. The sale commenced last October, offering travelers ample opportunity to plan their trips from now until October of this year.
