The new route between Tirana and the Austrian capital city will operate three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The Aircraft used for the route is an Airbus A320, with 180 seats.Reservations for the flights can be made online at www.wizzair.com or through travel agencies.

“I congratulate Wizz Air for operating their new route. The airline has expanded its services at TIA over the last three years, and we are very pleased to have this new flight to Vienna,” said the Chief Executive Officer of the Airport, Dr Constantin Von Alvensleben.

Vienna lies in the east of Austria on the banks of the River Danube. Its artistic and intellectual legacy was shaped by its many famous residents including Mozart, Beethoven and Freud. The city is also known for its imperial palaces, including the Schönbrunn, the Habsburgs’ summer residence. In the museums quarter, historical and contemporary buildings display the works of many artists, including Egon Schiele and Gustav Klimt.
