To the attention of the passengers who travel to Germany

What is new?

Germany will adjust the entry restrictions effective 11 January 2021.

a. negative test result issued at most 48hrs before arrival in Germany OR a (AntiGen, RT-LAMP)

certificate of a positive PCR test result (older than 21 days but not older than 6 months = immunity certificate).

The certificates must be in German, English or French. If none of the mentioned certificates is available, passengers must undergo a COVID-19 test immediately after entry into Germany.

2. DEA (“Digitale Einreiseanmeldung”): Travelers coming from risk regions must present a DEA online confirmation at immigration. Link to DEA: www.einreiseanmeldung.de

3. Quarantine: Travelers coming from risk regions are required to enter a 10-days quarantine. According to the Land regulations in force, the 10-days quarantine may be lifted at the earliest after the fifth day and following a negative test result. (Exemptions for the quarantine apply: https://www.bundesgesundheitsministerium.de/.../2020-11... )

Passengers transferring (within 24h in one booking) to a Schengen or Non-Schengen destination have to comply with their destination country’s rule and are exempt from this local German rule.
